Customer Review: IT’S FINE
My son is 2 and is able to attach the pieces together. It’s not so much that it takes over your whole living room either. Nice sized Dora, Boots and Swiper are included, you even get the Singing Gate. It doesn’t have loads of pieces, but enough for some variety. Another bonus is that this is Mega Bloks, NOT the other companies that’s recalling Dora stuff for lead paint.
Customer Review: flimsy and unstable
as appealing as construction + Dora sounded, I’m very disappointed at this toy’s instability - even on a tile floor, the tree is easily knocked over, the tree top is difficult to attach (even for me, let alone my 5 yr old). I’m encouraged that my daughter wants to be creative and put the parts together in other ways, but it’s not very flexible, i.e. the ladder will not “stay” as a bridge because the bride stairs are not stable enough to support the weight. in general, it’s a great concept, but a “platform” piece is needed and Mega Bloks would do well to implement more real-life testing before releasing the item.
