Customer Review: Great and mess free!
Just ordered this set after my daughter finished the Elmo one. The problem is when they get too wet, over time, the colors stay after it dries, taking the fun out of recoloring it. My daughter really loves it though, and I love how easy and mess free it is.
Customer Review: Probably more durable than other brand
I purchased this product along with the other company’s product. My intial impression was the same as the that of the other reviewer. However, after my daughter used both of them, I think that this will probably be the more durable product. Yes, the pages are thinner, and therefore less sturdy if you’re not using a hard surface, but this also means that they dry considerably faster. The other company’s product seems more sturdy initially, but the thick board pages can get soggy quickly if your child likes to color with a lot of water; it takes much longer to dry and the pages get ruined more quickly. Overall, I think that we’ll be purchasing more of the aquadoodle pads. Great idea!! First product we’ve found to keep our daughter busy in a restaurant!! We actually finished a meal!

Customer Review: Preschoolers will like this a lot!
I bought this for my 5 yr old daughter for Christmas and she really enjoys playing it. I think that it’s fun but at the same time it teaches some hand/eye coordination. My 3 yr old daughter likes to play, but she enjoys one of the mini games that’s played separately. I like the fact that there’s no cartridges to keep track of and not a lot of pieces. Very simple yet fun for little ones to play!
Customer Review: easy for a 2 year old
I think the age requirement is ages 5 and up. Well, I bought this for my 2 year old and she loves it. It’s very simple and easy for her to use. It only requires simple button pushing and a little movement from Map (joystick). The games are great. Very simple but there really is no losing except maybe when you’re playing against Swiper. But that happens rarely. The game makes things easier to have a better chance at winning. For example, the rowing boat race. You just gotta push buttons to jump over frogs. At the end, even if Swiper is ahead, his boat slows down, giving you a chance to catch up and take the win. In the matching game, if you can’t find a match after several tries, it takes away 2 cards to make it easier. If you still can’t find a match, it’ll take 2 more cards away. My 2 year old just picks any card but after several tries and less cards, eventually she’ll get a pair.
As for the educational value. I only gave it 3 stars. Just for the numbers being said in spanish on the board game as you move up to 4 paces and for the memory matching game.
Overall, I think a 2 year old would enjoy it especially being a Dora fan. My 5 year old finds it way too easy but still likes playing because of rarely losing.

Customer Review: Many different pieces, many different pretend play possibilities
This toy comes with so many different pieces, the pretend play possibilities are endless! There are several different poses for each of the major characters - Dora, Boots and Swiper - and all of the minor characters are included as well. There may be too many pieces for younger children, so parents can put some away until those children are older and ready for more complex scenarios. This is a great toy for children who are beginning to engage in pretend play.

My daugter got this when she was 5 and now 2 years later she still pulls it out to play. It is great for kids to learn color and character matching. Just holds the younger crowds attention longer than the traditional plain UNO and as an adult I still love to play.
